Emma rise back to her feet, to help Chan. Chan and Emma stood next to each other. They charged forward and knock down the Sam’s fifth and seventh friend, before they got a chance to rise back to their feet. Sam’s other five friends had gotten back to their feet. Emma kneel down to the ground, while Chan leap to the air and threw another 365-degree flying kick, knocking all of them down, at once. Sam’s fifth and seventh friend had gotten back to their feet. Chan and Emma weren’t giving them a chance to fight, Chan and Emma charged forward, throwing numbers of kicks and punches onto them, knocking them down definitely.
Then, Chan and Emma turned their attention, to the other five of Sam’s friends. Sam’s first, second, third and sixth friend had gotten back onto their feet, Chan leaped into the air and jumped forward in the same time and kicked Sam’s sixth friend on the stomach. Sam’s sixth friend flew across the air and slammed into the wall, leaving the sound of a bang, while hitting the wall. Emma punched the first of Sam’s friend, blocked the punch of the second then slide forward and kicked the third one. Chan landed back onto the ground. Emma stood next to Chan. Sam’s second and fourth friend tried to attack. Chan kicked the two of them and have both of them knocked down in definitely.
Sam’s other two friends, weren’t sure whether they should attack. They just stood there. Emma walked towards Sam. She was still angry. She pulled Sam to his feet. “You hit Hailey again, did you? DID YOU!!!” Emma yelled angrily.
Emma raised her fist, to punch Sam, but Chan blocked it.
“Emma, that is enough, there is no point.” Chan said
Emma looked at Chan “Calm down, he is not worth it.” Chan said
“Yeah, by the way, I think I’ll call the cops on you, for breaking in and physical assault.” Sam said
Chan took a look at Sam, “Well, you can do that if you want. But what can we do? Hmm…let me think about it. Domestic violence, what you did to Hailey, a few days ago. You see, Hailey’s injury can only be cause by assault, we will call the cops about that and you will get into a whole lot of trouble. The cops will get involve and investigate. They will start asking question. Hailey would say her injury is caused by people trying to rob her house, not by you. Then the cops would put both of you and Hailey onto a polygraph test, which would prove she is lying and considering the fact you been to prison before and you were in Sydney the day that the ambulance found Hailey unconscious and the neighbor heard a lot of domestic disturbance and the number of time you pull a knife onto your staff in Queensland, well, I don’t know about you, but I think there is enough here to persuade the jury and throw you behind bars, too. What do you think?” Chan looked at Sam and said
Sam stood there, numbed for a second. “I won’t say anything, if you don’t say anything.” Sam said.

Chan and Emma walked out of the building and back to the car together. “What the hell is the matter with you? What were you thinking?” Chan asked Emma angrily, after they gotten out of the building.
“I…I wasn’t.” Emma said
“Do you know that, he could sue you, for breaking into his house like that? He could also sue you, for physical assault. Is that what you want?” Chan asked “Not to mention the danger involve. There were eight of them in there. Eight! Are you crazy? Do you really believe that, you really can handle eight guys, all by yourself? God, even I can’t handle eight guys all by myself. You are a great fighter Emma, but you are not invisible. You could have died in there, you know that? Do you really think you could have helped Hailey like this? You were lucky you didn’t get yourself killed. You didn’t do any good in there, you know that? You know what you did? All you did was, almost got yourself killed, almost got yourself ended up in prison and we just lost our one and only card, that we have, to get Hailey out of that relationship right now, because we used it, to make a deal with Sam, so he won’t call the cops. You didn’t do any good like that, not at all, this is not like you. Not like you at all.” Chan said
“I…I let my emotions gotten the better of me.” Emma said
“There is nothing wrong about having emotions. But that is only if you are able to control it and use it constructively, only. Don’t lose your temper like that again, anger might give you the energy requires, to solve the problem, but the impulse associate with it, is usually counterproductive.” Chan said
A few minutes later, Eric and Chan, came close to Hailey’s room within the hospital.
Tang was standing nearby and he was teaching a group of interns. Nancy Paterson, who is one of Tang’s, most trusted lieutenants, within this hospital, stood next to him. When he saw Chan and Eric came by, Tang told Nancy to take over the class and then he went to talk to Chan.
“Emma isn’t here today.” Tang said
“I know. I came here to check on Hailey Walker.” Chan replied
“She is stable. She is still insisting that she fell down the stairs. Words on the street is that she gotten bashed up by her boyfriend. But as I said, she is still insisting that she fell down the stairs and nothing else.” Tang said
Chan smiled “Of course she is going to say that. This is Hailey we are talking about.” Chan said
